The council is to collect public bins in Rosegreen village according to a Fine Gael councillor.
Michael Murphy says the local tidy towns raised the issue with him about the public bins not being collected.
Cllr Murphy says the voluntary group had been asked by the council to bring the bags to the waste disposal facility in Clonmel.
The public bins in the village were collected when it was in the Cashel and Carrick On Suir district in the past.
However the Fine Gael councillors says common sense has prevailed and that although it’s a minor issue, this decision sends the right message that we support the work done by volunteers.
