Tipperary town library is offering a first aid training course in two parts. Tomorrow Wednesday October 4th – a first aid course is available between 10am and 12 noon.
The aim is to equip participants with the theoretical knowledge, skills and confidence to deal first aid for instances of CPR shock, fractures, bleeding and a range of other minor illnesses and injuries.
On Wednesday October 18th a course in CPR for adults, children and infants is being offered. The workshop will also include training on how to use an Automated External Defibrillator(AED) and how to deal with choking incidents.
The library advises that the course will not be certified. Anyone interested in either course is asked to book a place by telephoning 052 616 6126.
