Bus Éireann welcomes the news that unofficial industrial action taken by a small number of employees at Limerick depot has now ended. Bus services will see a phased resumption this evening, 2 October 2023. The company expects full services will resume from tomorrow morning, 3 October 2023.

Bus Eireann also apologises for the disruption experienced over the past two days and any inconvenience this has caused. Limerick city, Provincial and Expressway services were affected by the industrial action.
The unofficial action was taken by 10 drivers due to a new roster for spare bus drivers that came into effect yesterday.
