Farmers Encouraged To Attend IFA Election Debate In Horse & Jockey

South Tipperary IFA Chairperson Pat Carroll is encouraging farm families to attend the IFA President and Deputy President Election Debate next Thursday October 5th at 8pm in the Horse & Jockey Hotel, near Thurles.

The event is seen as an opportunity for IFA members to engage with the candidates and to discuss the priorities for 2024 – 2027.

The contest for the Presidency sees two contenders –  Francie O’Gorman from Laois and Martin Stapleton from Limerick. Deputy President candidates are Alice Doyle from Wexford and Pat Murphy from Galway.

South Tipperary Chairman Pat Carrol says the industry is seeking a balance between environmental, economic, and social sustainability.
