Tipperary Town Seeking Assistance With Solving Two Burglaries In The Golden Area

Tipperary town Gardaí are seeking help to solve two burglaries in the Golden area of Tipperary. A lawn mower and gardening tools were stolen from sheds at two homes in Golden village between 1am and 4am on Friday, September 22. A building site, where a house is being constructed, was targeted at Rathclogheen, Golden.  Building  materials and tools were stolen in the incident. Garda believe the theft occurred between 5pm on Tuesday, September 19th  and 7am on Wednesday, September 20th.

Garda are asking if anyone has any information regarding the thefts or saw suspicious activity in Golden village or Rathclogheen on the nights of Tuesday  September 19th or early on Friday September 22nd  to contact the station at (062) 80670.

Meanwhile Gardaí from Roscrea and Nenagh Garda Station assisted by the Southern Region Dog Unit searched a property in Roscrea town yesterday. Garda seized a large quantity of fireworks. Garda say while no arrests were made their investigations are ongoing and a file will be sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions for possible charges to be brought against the person(s) involved.
