Repair crews are today working on repairing street lights on the Cashel road in Tipperary town.
The lights between the Maxol station on Fr Matthew Street and St Michael’s Graveyard have been out of order causing concerns about public safety. Enerveo provides the service on behalf of Tipperary County Council.
Concerns have also been expressed about the slow turnaround times for repairs to street lighting by the company who took over the contract from Airtricity – especially by residents in the Glenview Square area of Tipperary town.
