Met Eireann has issued a status yellow rain warning for all of Munster and counties Carlow, Kilkenny, Laois and Wexford. The national forecaster says persistent rain may cause localised flooding.
The warning comes into effect at 6pm on Thursday and is to remain in effect until 6am on Friday September 15th.
