Contractors for Tipperary County Council are continuing to clean paving overnight in the town.
Work last night included some of the footpaths on the Main Street and the Market Yard area.
The contractor is hired to clean the footpaths on all of Main Street except for a small section near the Bansha Roundabout.
This paving is to be replaced entirely as part of the N74 Road Enhancement project due to commence shortly.
The contractors are also to re-sand the paving once the cleaning has been completed – this work is expected to be completed by the middle of next week.
Foamstream Ltd from Stradbally county Laois are the contractors hired for the project.
