Uisce Éireann is to operate a text alert service designed to provide important updates to its business customers in Tipperary.
The service ensures that businesses stay informed about planned or unplanned water outages, as well as drinking water restriction advisories, such as boil water notices according to the company.
The company says it is continuing with major investment to upgrade the water network in county Tipperary .
Businesses can sign up for the text service at water.ie/business-updates.
The business will then receive alerts in the event of an issue that could cause a water outage or affect water quality lasting four hours or more.
