Night time water restrictions to continue for a second week for customers supplied by Ardfinnan Regional Public Water Supply to ensure a daytime supply for the community.
The restrictions, which are in place from 9pm each evening to 7am the following morning, are required to help reservoir levels recover.
Uisce Eireann says while water levels are being reviewed daily the restrictions will be in place until Friday September 15th.
The areas affected include Ardfinnan Village, Ballyhist, Cranna, Ballybrado, Kilcommon, Roosca, Ballyea, Castlegrace, St Finnan’s estate, Castle View estate, Ros Na Grene, Ladys Abbey, Ashfield Manor Estates, Goatenbridge, Poulatar, Ballyvera, Newcastle, Middlequater, Knockperry, Garrencasey and surrounding areas.
The company warns that some customers may experience reduced pressure while others may experience water outages.
