Holycross Abbey Solemn Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help will run from Friday 8th to Saturday 16th of September. Weekday sessions at 7am, 10.30am, 4.30pm, and 7.30pm. Penitential service will take place on friday 15th at 7.30pm and the Annointing of the Sick on Saturday 16th at 2pm. Confessions will be heard before, during, and after each sessiom every day. All are welcome.

Tipperary Heartland Group will hold a Tourism Forum in the Source, Thurles on Tuesday September 19th at 7pm. The purpose of the forum is to discuss the problems facing tourism in the area, the opportunities available, and the support that is required. A number of people who have an interest in tourism in the country will be address the meeting. They are Caroline Rice, John Gerard O’Dwyer and Chairman of the Tipperary County Council, Ger Darcy.
