Uisce Eireann reports that repair works are completed at the Water Treatment plant supplying properties in the Burncourt area. These repairs were completed late last night and related to a power outage at the water treatment plant – normal supply should now be restored.
The Boil Water Notice remains in effect on the Burncourt Ballylooby Regional Scheme. This notice is in effect since July 27th and impacts over 3,600 customers in Burncourt, Ballyporeen, Clogheen, Ballylooby, Mitchelstown road in Cahir and surrounding areas.
Kiltankin and Clonmore South Group Water Schemes are also affected by the Boil Water Notice. Uisce Eireann can be contacted by calling 1 800 278 278.
