A Cashel girl is to compete at the Junior Eurovision Éire with the aim of representing the country on the international music stage.
Alanna Manton of Rockwell Music Academy will be hoping to go all the way as part of the six week competition on TG4.
The participants will perform Irish-language cover versions of famous songs during the competition.
The winner will then have their entry written for them after the contest.
