Preparations are underway for the Holycross Abbey Solemn Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Help. The Novena will run from Friday 8th to Saturday 16th September. Weekday sessions are at 7am, 10.30am, 4.30pm & 7.30pm. On Sundays there is also a session at 12.30pm but no 4.30pm session. Blessing of Infants will take place on Sunday 10th September at 2.30pm, the Penitential Service is scheduled for Friday 15th at 7.30pm and Anointing of the Sick service is set for Saturday 16th at 2pm.
Confessions will be heard before, during and after each session every day except Sunday.
Tipp Mid West Radio will broadcast the Novena on each of the nine days.
From Friday September 8th the 7.30pm session will be broadcast each evening until Friday September 15th when the broadcast time will be 4.30pm. The final broadcast from this year’s Novena will be the 2pm Anointing of the Sick service on Saturday September 16th.
