Uisce Éireann Issues Reminder Of Three Boil Notices Remain In Place

Uisce Éireann is reminding customers that three Boil Water Notices remain in effect in the county – in total the notices impact on 18,189 people.

The Notices are on the Glenary Public Water Supply, the Dundrum Regional Water Scheme and the Burncourt Ballylooby Regional Water Supply schemes.

The Glenary Public Water Supply includes parts of Clonmel town centre and surrounding areas including Cashel Road, Cahir Road and Ring Road; and the Kilcomma/Finger Post areas in Co Waterford. Customers can check if their property is included by visiting the www.water.ie/supply and entering the property’s Eircode or by calling the Uisce Éireann customer care helpline, open 24/7, on 1800 278 278.

Areas affected by the Dundrum Regional Public Water Supply Boil Water Notice include: Boherlahan, Goold’s Cross, Clonoulty, Barraderry and surrounding areas. Dundrum Village is not impacted by this Boil Water Notice as it is supplied by another scheme, the boundary is at the crossroads at the North East of the village; crossroads of the R505 and R661.

Areas affected by the Burncourt Regional and Burncourt Ballylooby Public Water Supplies Boil Water Notice include: Burncourt, Ballyporeen, Clogheen, Ballylooby, Mitchelstown Road in Cahir, and surrounding areas. The notice also impacts customers on the Kiltankin and Clonmore South Group Water Schemes.

Uisce Eireann says vulnerable customers who have registered with Uisce Éireann receive direct communication on Boil Water Notices. Customers are reminded that the water is safe to consume once boiled.
