The 27th Annual Trip to Tipp in support of NCBI is to take place on Sunday morning September 3rd. The event has been led by Thurles man Billy Shanahan – NCBI are now the lead organisers.
The event offers an opportunity for people to walk, run or cycle over a range of distances. Cycling routes ranges from 120km(Thurles to the Glen of Aherlow) to a 10km route. Walkers or runners take a 10km route around Thurles
Participants can register for their selected Trip to Tipp event online through the event page on the NCBI website, or on the day at the Ursuline Sports Complex on the Templemore Road, Thurles.
Trip to Tipp begins and ends in Thurles and is one of the most popular charity sporting events in Tipperary and is dedicated to the memory of the late Lorraine Shanahan, Gerry Shields & Michael Sutton with all proceeds going to NCBI to support services for the visually impaired.
