As part of Heritage Week Thurles based artist Jennifer Ryan Kelly will be providing a workshop with some animated clips inspired by the Oral history project Tipperary Town Memories.
Eleven people from Tipperary town shared their memories of growing up and living in Tipperary in the decades between the 1940s and the 1990s.
The recordings are being aired by Tipp Mid West Radio and will also be made available in the Tipperary Studies section of the Thurles library and online in the future on the Tipperary Cultural Films YouTube channel when the animation work is completed.
The free event on Sunday at the 6’s and 7’s Gallery at number 6 Davis Street will take place between 1 and 2pm and no advance booking is required.
