Drivers in the Tipperary town are advised of ongoing night time roadworks on Main Street as the entire road is resurfaced between the Maid of Erin and Bank Place.
The works will resume on Thursday evening at 8pm until 7am on Friday morning – it is expected that the works will take almost two weeks to complete. A stop and go system is in operation and drivers are advised to be aware of construction vehicles working on the site and uneven road surfaces.
Tipperary County Council says that works will also take place overnight on Friday. To allow for weekend night time traffic in Tipperary town the works will be a slightly smaller scale through Friday night if sufficient progress is made on Thursday night.
Drivers are advised to drive with caution and to expect slight delays to journeys in Tipperary town.
