Three towns in County Tipperary are undertaking major planning work to set out a blueprint for a successful future.
Tipperary County Council published draft Local Area plans for the towns of Nenagh, Thurles and Clonmel today.
The plans are now open to public consultation until September 11th and will form a guide for future planning decisions and funding priorities.
The plans can be viewed in the Council offices and Libraries in Nenagh, Thurles and Clonmel and also on the Council website. The plans cover details such as Land Use, Regeneration, Flood Assessment, Environmental issues and Transport including Active Travel.
Drop in consultation sessions are planned for each town to enable the public to meet with officials from the Council’s Planning and Active Travel offices. These will be held in the local library from 3pm to 7pm as follows:
Nenagh on August 22nd, Clonmel on August 23rd, Thurles on August 29thSubmissions can be made via the council website portal or in writing to the Council Offices in Nenagh or Limerick.
Submissions or observations must be made in writing no later than 4.00 p.m. on Monday, 11 September 2023. Tipperary County Council says late submissions will not be accepted.
