Boil Water Notice Issued For Galtee Water Supply After Heavy Rainfall, Other Boil Water Notices Still In Place

The recent heavy rainfall has resulted in Uisce Éireann issuing a Boil Water Notice for the Galtee Regional Water Scheme. The notice will affect 15,795 customers.

The notice impacts all areas on the Galtee Regional Public Water Supply including Emly, Lattin, Ballinard, Cullen, Ballywire, Kilross, Limerick Junction, Monard, Lisvernane, Rossadrehid, Bansha, Tankardstown, Kilfeacle, Golden, Cashel, Rosegreen, New Inn and surrounding areas.

Earlier today a new Boil Water Notice was put in place for the Burncourt Regional and Burncourt Ballylooby Public Water Supply.

Two Boil Water Notices on the Ardfinnan and Thurles Regional Water Schemes also remain in place.

In total, 42,333 customers  of Uisce Éireann are now subject to Boil Water Notices in County Tipperary.  (Galtee 15, 795, Burncourt Ballylooby 3,790, Ardfinnan 11,350 and Thurles 11,398)
