The recent heavy rainfall has resulted in Uisce Éireann issuing a Boil Water Notice for the Galtee Regional Water Scheme. The notice will affect 15,795 customers.
The notice impacts all areas on the Galtee Regional Public Water Supply including Emly, Lattin, Ballinard, Cullen, Ballywire, Kilross, Limerick Junction, Monard, Lisvernane, Rossadrehid, Bansha, Tankardstown, Kilfeacle, Golden, Cashel, Rosegreen, New Inn and surrounding areas.
Earlier today a new Boil Water Notice was put in place for the Burncourt Regional and Burncourt Ballylooby Public Water Supply.
Two Boil Water Notices on the Ardfinnan and Thurles Regional Water Schemes also remain in place.
In total, 42,333 customers of Uisce Éireann are now subject to Boil Water Notices in County Tipperary. (Galtee 15, 795, Burncourt Ballylooby 3,790, Ardfinnan 11,350 and Thurles 11,398)
Customers can also check if their property is included by visiting the Water Quality section of water.ie and entering the property’s Eircode or by calling the Uisce Éireann’s customer care helpline, open 24/7, on 1800 278 278.
