Uisce Eireann are to carry out repairs today on a burst water mains located on Davis Street, Tipperary town.
The work is expected to be completed by 11pm tonight(July24).
Since Friday night approximately 40 Uisce Eireann customers on the Davis and St Michael’s Street area have had night time water supply restrictions in an effort to provide water for daytime use.
Some local businesses are also impacted by the water supply outage with one Café having to end an event and close early on Saturday afternoon due to Uisce Eireann investigation works.
In related news three Boil Water Notices were lifted on Friday – these cover the Glenary, the Burncourt Ballylooby Scheme and the Galtee Regional Water Supply Schemes.
For now, the Boil Water Notices on the Ardfinnan and Thurles Regional Public Water Schemes remain in effect.
