Tipperary County Council has extended the period of public consultation for the new Local Economic and Community Plan for the county. This new plan is intended to be in effect up to 2028. The public consultation will now close on Friday August 4th.
The plan will set out high level goals for Economic and Community Development in the county and will seek to identify the actions necessary to deliver the goals. Council officials say the plan is important as Government Departments will use it as a guide when assessing funding applications from Tipperary County Council.
To help inform the public the council have published a Socio-Economic Highlights Document for the county on the council website and the link to the survey for the public consultation can be found at this link here.
