Details of the funeral arrangements for Ignacy Sokoluk, the young man that died in the car accident on Saturday night in Ballykisteen have been finalised.
The young man was a passenger in one of the two cars involved in the collision that also resulted in 4 other people being hospitalised with injuries.
The 19 year old Polish native, who lived in Dundrum with his mother, stepfather and sisters for several years and recently completed his training with the Irish Army, will lie in repose at Whelan’s Funeral Home, Bansha Road, Tipperary on Friday evening.
The funeral Mass for Ignacy will take place in St. Michael’s Church, Tipperary on Saturday at 12noon and burial afterwards in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
There has been an outpouring of sympathy and support for the family who were so proud of Ignacy’s achievements with many noting how his sisters Alice and Tia looked up to their brother.
