ESB Networks are reporting that a fault causing a power outage in Cahir has been repaired and power has been restored to an estimated 200 customers.
The outage was reported at 2.45pm and is understood to have been repaired at 3.35pm.
An estimated 43 customers on the Holycross Road near Thurles are without power due to a planned outage for essential maintenance. This work is expected to be completed by 4pm.
Earlier today an estimated 48 customers were without power for a short time in the Ardfinnan and Garranacanty areas due to an electrical fault.
ESB Networks advises all customers to use it’s website powercheck.ie for updates on any outages. The website only posts information about an outage when it affects more than 10 properties. Customers are advised that if they cannot find an outage they should call 1 800 372 999 with their MRPN number to report the fault.
