Pedestrian Who Died In Collision In Ballylooby Named

The family of the man who died in a Road Traffic Collision in Ballylooby last night have posted confirmation of the death of Ronan Dwyer. The information, posted on the website RIP.ie describes the family as heartbroken. 

Mr Dwyer from Croughatour, Ballylooby, Cahir died last night after he was struck by a vehicle as he was walking near the village.

Mr Dwyer is survived by “his heart broken parents Seamus and Alice, brothers Paul and Seamie, sister-in-law Melissa, nieces Keighley and Lydia, uncles and aunts and extended family and a large circle of friends.”

No Funeral arrangements have been made as of now.

The tragedy is likely to be devastating for  both families involved. The driver is also thought to be a local man.

Garda are continuing with a forensic examination of the scene of the collision at this time and expect that the road will be reopened at approximately 5pm.
