This piece is sculpted by Philip Quinn & associates of Stonemad studio, Holycross. It was commissioned by Cahir Tidy Towns and part funded with grant aid from South Tipp Development committee. Cllr Andy Moloney is also extending thanks also to Cahir Development Association for assistance from TÚS staff, members of Cahir Tidy Towns and Mitchelstown Transport for their help in completing the project. Other agencies involved are Tipperary County Council, Inland Fisheries, National Parks and Wildlife Service(NPWS) and Flynn Furney consultants.
