Tipperary Sports clubs and Community Groups are being encouraged to apply for the 2023 Sports Capital Fund which will open for applications on Monday July 17th.
The key features reveal that the maximum grants for local projects is increased from €150,000 to €200,000. The Maximum grant this year for regional projects is increased from €300,000 to €500,000. Minister for Sport Thomas Byrne says there are new rules this year on facilities providing similar access to facilities for men and women.
The Minister is encouraging all interested applicants to read the new “Guide to Making an Application” and to begin work on submitting an application in time for the closing date of September 8th. The Fund includes financial aid for equipment and the Minister notes how such support can benefit both sports clubs and community groups. Full details will be published on the gov.ie website.
