Met Eireann has issued a Status Yellow – Thunderstorm and Rainfall warning for Tipperary, Waterford, all of Leinster, and counties Leitrim, Cavan, Monaghan
Met Éireann says heavy showers with thunderstorms are likely today, possibly causing spot flooding, poor visibility and making for difficult travelling conditions at times.
The warning comes into effect at 8am today and is valid until 9pm this evening.
