The Transport Infrastructure Ireland says it’s their intention to prioritise the Tipperary Town By-Pass over any other section of the new N24 Motorway.
Nigel O’Neill, Director of Capital Programmes says that funding has been provided to progress the project this year.
Mr O Neill outlined that the phase 3 Design Environmental Evaluation is underway with the council being provided funds to carry out this work in 2023.
The information came through questioning from Independent TD Michaeal Lowry at the Transport and Communication Oreachtas Committee.
