Thurles Ticket Holder Comes Forward To Claim 500K Euromillions Prize

The individual who bought the Euromillions ticket worth €500,000 in Thurles has come forward.

The National Lottery says the ticket holder realised over the weekend they had the winning slip and plans are underway for collection of their prize money.

There’s no indication of how the person plans to spend their windfall.

The ticket was bought in the Lidl store on the day of draw last Friday.

Meanwhile two local organisation are celebrating after being revealed as National Finalists in the National Lottery Good Causes Awards 2023.

The groups are The Boher Community Development Group, who were named in the Community category while the Tipperary Town Revitalisation task force are in the Heritage category.
