Tipperary County Council is asking the developer for additional information in respect of a planning application for a Business Park on the Bansha Road, Tipperary town.
The Planning office says it needs further information and also points out that the land is currently zoned for Residential use.
The Developer Fitzgerald Partnership is asked to respond to 4 issues – the land zoning issue, the management of the partial demolition of an existing building – a former restaurant, proposed ground levels along the western portion of the site that may be at risk of flooding and a request for details of all existing and proposed boundary treatments.
The council specifies that all boundary walls visible from public areas are to be appropriately capped and rendered.
The applicant has 6 months to respond to the council request and can also request an additional 3 months to prepare the requested documents.
The Tipperary Revitalisation Task Force says there is a need for the proposed development which consists of the construction of three buildings to provide seven light industrial units.
