Tipperary Joint Policing Committee will meet in the Horse and Jockey Hotel this morning. The Committee meets 4 times per year to consider crime and safety issues across the county. All 5 TDs are members – the committee also includes the Garda Chief Superintendent Colm O’Sullivan, 15 nominated Councillors, Council officials and representatives from Community Groups, Business and Farming interests. The public can watch the meeting via a zoom link but cannot speak or ask questions.
Today’s meeting will review levels and patterns of crime, disorder, and anti-social behaviour in Tipperary and get updates on the Property Marking service offered by AGS, and details of the Citizens’ Assembly on Drugs Use, Tipperary County Council Anti-Social Behaviour Strategy and progress with CCTV installations across the county
