Garda and emergency services including the Fire Service and National Ambulance Service attended the scene of a single vehicle collision yesterday afternoon in Glassdrum Cappawhite. Two occupants of a car were taken to hospital for assessment as a precaution. It is understood that the occupants were near their home when the incident occurred. Garda are investigating the circumstances that led to the car being overturned.
The incident happened at approximately 4.30pm. The road between Cappawhite (4 Cross Roads) to Annacarty was closed for a period of time but is now open to traffic.
