Usice Éireann and Tipperary County Council have now completed unplanned valve replacement works at O’Brien Street and Aherlow Terrace in Tipperary Town.
Customers should see their water supply returning over the next hour – this update was issued at 2.3opm.
The company is also giving advance notice of planned disruption in Cashel to the Upper Friar Street and surrounding area on Monday June 19th.
These works are part of the National Leakage Reduction Programme and are scheduled to take place from 2pm until 5pm. It will take approximately 2 to 3 hours after the estimated restoration time for supply to fully return.
There will also be a traffic management plan in place in the Upper Friar street area for the duration of the works. Updates are available on the water.ie website
