Gardaí in Thurles have seized a car after a driver was found to have no licence or insurance.
The car was stopped on the Templemore road and Gardaí established that the driver had no licence or insurance for the vehicle using the Mobility App.
This roadside device gives Gardaí immediate access to the driving licence and motor vehicle registration database.
The driver had claimed that their Driving Licence was left at home in error. Court dates will now follow for the driver.
