A small grant scheme to help fund events for Heritage Week is now open for applications.
National Heritage Week is a nine-day celebration of Ireland’s natural, built and cultural heritage. The main aim of the week is to promote awareness of Ireland’s heritage, thereby encouraging its conservation and preservation. This year National Heritage Week will run from Saturday the 12th to Sunday the 20th August 2023. This year’s theme invites people to explore the traditions and practices, knowledge and skills passed down through generations.
Tipperary County Council is offering grants in the range of €200 to €500 euros and a deadline of July 7th is in place for applications.
