A Tipperary resident is €50,000 richer today after a Prize Bond purchased this year won the €50,000 prize.
This week’s star prize goes to lucky Prize Bond number BDQ 392154 which was sold in County Tipperary. The prize is tax free.
The holder of the winning Prize Bond can claim their prize by calling 0818 20 50 60. Prize Bond holders can check draw results online at www.StateSavings.ie or at their local Post Office.
There were over 4,831 prizes awarded in this week’s Prize Bond Draw, amounting to over €305,500. In addition to a €250,000 prize awarded on the last weekly draw of March, June, September and December, there are weekly draws where the top prize is €50,000. Other cash prizes awarded each week include 10 of €1,000 and 10 of €500.
Prize Bonds are a State Savings product which, instead of paying interest, offers bondholders the chance to win cash prizes every week.
An Post will make contact with the individual who purchased the Prize Bond 2023 as contact details on file should be up to date. Last February another prize of €50,000 was won in the Premier county in respect of a Prize Bond purchased in 2002.
