ESB networks and SIRO, the broadband company, are continuing with works in Tipperary Town today.
Four ESB poles on St Michael’s Street and St Michaels Road will be replaced over the course of the day.
The area involved will be without electricity until 5pm this evening. Residents and businesses in the area were notified directly about the planned outage.
The area will also be congested with vehicles involved in the works and drivers are advised to avoid the area if possible.
Broadband fibres will be installed using the 4 new poles as the existing poles are damaged and unsuitable for the infrastructure.
