The Irish Show jumping team made history over the weekend in winning the FEI Rolex Nations Cup in Italy for the first time ever. Tipperary town man Denis Lynch has been praised by Team Manager Michael Blake for his “foot perfect” performance.
Ireland emerged victorious over host nation Italy, who had led for most of the event following a jump-off, with Mikey Pender and the Irish Sport Horse HHS Calais the heroes.
The team also included Tipperary Town’s Denis Lynch, riding Vistogrand, Jack Ryan riding BBS McGregor (ISH), and Michael G Duffy, riding Clitschko 17.
