Garda in Tipperary town are investigating an incident on O’Connell Road last evening.
A parked car was badly damaged after being struck by a moving vehicle.
Tipp Mid-West Radio understands that underage occupants may have been driving the car involved in the collision.
A spokesperson for An Garda Siochana says a male youth has been referred to the Juvenile Liaison Officer following the incident.
No injuries are reported in respect of the incident.
The collision occurred at approximately 9.10pm last evening.
The occupants of the vehicle are said to have been detained initially by members of the public until the Garda arrived on the scene.
Anyone with any information or drivers who may have been travelling in the area at time of the incident are asked to contact Tipperary town Garda Station at 062 80670.
Garda would especially like to hear from any driver that may have camera or dashcam footage that may aid the investigation.
