Uisce Eireann Customers living on the Thomastown to Bansha road(L4306) and residents on the Fourpenny Road have been notified that the Boil Before Use notice issued on the 13th of April has been lifted.
Remedial works have been completed and Uisce Eireann customers can now use the water without having to boil it first.
The supply in this area was found to be lacking sufficient chlorine at the time the notice was issued.
22 properties were affected by the notice to boil the water before use. This decision follows consultation undertaken with the Health Service Executive.
