Gardaí continue to investigate two separate incidents of unauthorised taking of a vehicle which occurred in Tipperary town on 8th May 2023.

The cars which were taken in the course of the incidents have been recovered and are undergoing technical examinations before being returned to their owners. Garda says that there are no arrests at this time. A blue Toyota was taken from the Church Street area between 11pm and midnight on Monday May 8^th   and the second car, a red Toyota was taken from the Hills area overnight on Monday into Tuesday morning.  

One of the cars was recovered in Limerick city and the other in Limerick county according to Gardaí. It is not thought that the cars were used in the commission of any crimes. Gardaí in Tipperary Town Station are appealing for any information in connection with the two incidents and can be contacted at 062 80670.
