Tipperary County Council have confirmed that the total cost of the Templemore Town Hall Redevelopment is expected to be €4,014,746.
This is to include design, construction and fit out costs.
The former town all is to be used as a cultural and enterprise hub and to provide a new home for Templemore Library. Leetherm Construction, Killusty, Co. Tipperary have been appointed as the contractors for the Templemore Town Hall redevelopment project. The development also includes the provision of a Civic Plaza adjacent to the building.
Rural Regeneration Development Funding(RRDF) of €2,107,500 was originally approved for the project. Due to cost inflation, additional funding of €903,559.69, was sought and approved by the Department. Total RRDF Funding allocated to the project is therefore €3,011,060
Tipperary County Council has provided Match Funding of €1,003,686 to the project.
Construction is scheduled to commence on the 15th May 2023 and is due to be completed by June 2024.
