Overcrowding Continues In Hospitals Serving Tipp People

Overcrowding continues to be an issue at Tipperary University Hospital(TUH) in Clonmel and UL Hospital in Limerick.

21 patients are receiving care on a trolley at TUH in Clonmel today. In UL 90 admitted patients are waiting on beds – 42 patients are reported to be in the Emergency Department area while 48 are accommodated by placing their trolley in some ward of the hospital.

Nationally 597 admitted patients are waiting for beds according to today’s INMO Trolley Watch.

473 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 124 are in wards elsewhere in the relevant hospital.
