In support of An Taisce National Spring Clean Tipperary town Tidy Towns are calling for local support for their “Spring Clean” event scheduled for tomorrow Saturday 22nd of April. The group will meet at the Tipperary Hills Pitch and Putt Club car park at 9 am.
Those volunteering to help with the annual spring clean event will be provided with high-viz jackets, gloves, bags and pickers – anyone with their own litter picker is asked to bring it with them. A number of locations in the town and on the approach roads have been identified for cleaning and based on the turnout of volunteers locations will be assigned to participants. Tipperary County Council will remove the waste items and litter collected during the spring clean event.
