Council Issue Update On Supports For Households Facing Eviction

394
Tipperary County Council has issued an update in respect of how it will support households who have been served a valid notice to quit their accommodation.
The government lifted the ban on no-fault evictions on March 31st 2023.  Tipperary County Council will support households through a combination of existing supports and new measures available.

The council stresses that it is important that household(s) with notices of termination contact the council at the earliest opportunity.

Two protocols are in place for people in this situation – one covering situations where the person is entitled to social housing and a second protocol for people not entitled to social housing.

Full details of a wide range of supports now available are published on the Tipperary county council website at this link here.
