The South East Mountain Rescue Group(SEMRA) provided assistance to walker in the Galtee Mountains over the weekend.
Rescue helicopter 117 from the Coastguard provided transport service to bring the injured party to hospital.
The person injured their lower leg when the fell on the Ice Road near Lough Curra.
Members of SEMRA reached the injured party, provide first aid and then stretchered the person to a suitable location for the helicopter evacuation.
