Local Gardaí continue to make efforts to link with the wider community and to help build positive links between citizens and members of An Garda Siochana.
Garda Laura Coffey and Garda Barry Storan visited Spraoi Playschool in Tipperary Town recently to raise awareness about the importance of wearing seatbelts.
The two Garda gave road safety advice to the children and gave them a tour of the Garda Vehicle.
The children were all attested as “Seatbelt Sheriffs” with the full authority to direct adults to always wear their seatbelt in addition to ensuring they also always buckle up themselves.
