A number of events are being planned in Anglesborough for the Scott Coscoran Fund, kicking off this Friday with an Easter Egg Hunt in the local national school from 11am to 12.30pm.
That will be followed on Good Friday night, 7th April, by a big bingo night in the community centre at 7.45pm.
A special Mass for the Coscoran family will be celebrated in Anglesborough Church on Easter Saturday at 8pm, followed by a Rambling House with ceól agus craic, with doors open at 8.30pm.
The family are fundraising to provide for medical care and modifications to their home for 19 year old Scott who recently received a diagnosis of an incurable tumour on his spine.
There has been an outpouring of support for Scott, his parents Mary and Brendan and brothers Adrian and Noel since his diagnosis. The family have also set up an appeal on the iDonate platform.
