Property owners or occupiers in certain parts of the towns of Tipperary, Cashel and Cahir are invited to apply for funding to improve the visual appearance of their buildings.
Tipperary Cahir Cashel MD has launched the 2023 Streetscape & Building Façade Enhancement Scheme and other Municipal Districts are expected to follow suit in the coming weeks. Priority this year is given to vacant and derelict properties in the primary retail areas.
The maximum funding available is €500 and should the scheme be oversubscribed funding will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Activities to be funded include the removal of inappropriate signage, fittings or clutter, installing new shop signage, painting and the addition of floral or other environmental improvements.
The closing date for applications to the scheme is noon on Friday 28th April, 2023. Payment of grant as per the scheme conditions is also subject to completion of the approved works to be submitted by Friday 20th October, 2023. Further details and application forms can be found at this link here
